Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Senate program will be hosting a Wellness Week on campus where they will offer all students and staff on campus the opportunity to come out each day during lunch and enjoy various activities. In addition to the campus community, they also reach out to the local community by visiting the Senior Center and working on engaging activities with them.

The bracelet making kits, face paints, basketball hoop game, and stickers, will offer students, staff, and local senior citizens the opportunity to relax, unwind, and enjoy time with others around them.

Our goal is to create a lasting connection between all who participate in these activities.
