My Project
My students love doing science. When they are engaged class goes by quickly and they remember content better. There are models of this type of project from many places including HHMI Biointeractive but doing our own ecosystem is much better!
Students will examine our trail cam data to create food chains, food webs, and diversity indexes to better understand species interactions and the importance of those interactions.
Students will learn to organize their data and make posters to share what they have learned with others.
Students can't collect data at night but the trail cam can! What lurks on our grounds when we are not around?
