This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This is an end of the year activity rooted in a love for reading. I will transform our classroom in a camp ground with the tent, campfire, chairs, and twinkle lights. I will make reading tents out of the sheets. Each tent will have a lantern. Each student will receive a book, a hat, a reading light, a reading buddy (bear) an official camp name tag with lanyard. We will spend the whole day doing reading, math, and art activities. We will have lunch at our campground and snacks around our campfire.
