Help me give my students books of their own to share with their family.

My Students

Our students are all special needs, ages 3-21. They enjoy things all students enjoy, hanging out with their friends, listening to music, all types of books, going new places, and seeing new things.

Sometimes we aren't very quiet or still, but we love books and being read to.

Some of our students struggle with mental illness and are working to use their coping skills.

My Project

This project would ensure every child at our school, including those who are virtual and medically homebound, would have books for their very own to share with their family this summer.

We would love for them to experience something positive, add to their love of reading, and help our families find a fun activity for everyone.

This activity will take the place of our typical Read Across America celebration and our spring book fair.

We have many students who have been home or only to school for over a year.
