This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A challenge to be tackled? My students are ready! A problem to be solved? Check! They are willing! Things to be accomplished? Definitely able!

I want to take my students to camp to prepare them for the biggest challenge of the year -- the Science STAAR test!

These materials will be used to turn my classroom into an outdoor adventure. They will explore all that camp life has to offer, including delicious s'mores compliments of the s'more maker. They will rendezvous with their team mates in camp chairs around the fire or in their group's tent. Let's not forget about the crafts. The plastic lace and keychains will provide hours and hours of busy hands. The wooden boards will provide signage for the different locations as well as materials to create boats to design experiments with. Hours of learning and endless amounts of fun will be had by all attendees of Camp STAAR Review!
