Help me give my students a fun learning experience called camp learn a lot. I will set up the tents around our classroom as reading spaces and I will use the microscopes as a science station.
As a celebration of learning at the end of the year we will have a camp learns a lot and transform our classroom into a camping theme. The pop up tents will be used as reading spaces around our classroom. Our day will involve several chances for reading in the tents. The campfires will be used for our community circle in the morning and groups can sit around the campfire to tell stories for writing and to share ideas.
The mircoscopes will be engaging as a science station!
The first graders will look at plant and animal specimens. They can write about what they observe and discuss it around the campfire.
