My students need a new digital camera and SD card to make their 5th grade yearbook. Help us to make an award winning yearbook with a new camera!

My Students
Do you remember your old black and white yearbook that was glued together and photocopied, we are now digital age with digital yearbooks. My students would love to be able to digitalize their yearbook!
My students are in a preK-5 public school in NYC.
They love using technology and get upset when their computer, laptop or smartboards become broken. Our school is a low income school, many of our students come from large foster families. Our students like to have hands on materials to learn with.
My Project
With a new camera our students will be able to participate in taking pictures for their yearbook. No longer will teachers have to contribute the pictures but students will be able to have their own pictures in the yearbook. Our students will be able to learn how to use a camera and will be able to digitally create a book with pictures of their school year.
By supporting this project your memory will stay alive for generations as our students will be able to reflect on how their yearbook was made with a donation when they show their children their yearbook.
They will be able to say "I helped design this yearbook!"
Nearly all students from low‑income households
