My students need a projector and a tripod to enhance their learning of photography.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Ridings's classroom raised $611
This project is fully funded
My Students
Children see the world differently than adults and it is evident when they take pictures. They will experience photography and explore different technology.
Our students are 4 and 5 year old in a public school located in an inner city of Illinois.
Our students are excited about learning new things and being provided with hands-on experiences. Our students are from families of low income and they have limited resources.
My Project
Children will explore the world of photography. This project will provide hands-on activities with cameras and technology of viewing their work on a larger screen. This technology will engage the students in investigating and integrating learning standards. The projector will allow the students to view their work and discuss their learning and progress in a large group setting. The mini tripod will assist the student with picture taking at their height and setting stationary.
The photography project will make a huge impact and provide a great learning experience for our students whom would not have this opportunity.
Please support our students so they can have the same experiences of more affluent families and communities.
More than half of students from low‑income households
