Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach in NJ. Most of my students don't have technology at home so I am here to try and help my students find ways to complete online assignments. My students have the willpower to become successful adults after high school and I want to give them to the tools to do so. My school is a magnet school for high educated students who want to go to college and do great things. With these tools I believe they will.
My Project
With the technology equipment the students will create and livestream HD video/Podcast to the entire school for the first time. Nothing like this has ever happened in our school before, and it us up to my tech team and I to get this done. After the footage is shot, the students will create a daily podcast for the community to keep up with the news at the high school. The camera will be used to shoot the footage for the live stream.
The livestream/Podcast will also be made available to parents to stay in the loop of what is happening in the school.
Now when a student is absent they will be able to view the daily podcast to keep up with important information regarding their studies.
