This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have been given the great opportunity to teach a math-photography class this year. Math is everywhere in photography - from shutter speed to aperture. I look forward to showing students how math connects to art through this new and engaging course.

To take this course to the next level, we need some accessories!

Tripods will help students truly manage their shutter speed properly. UV filters will protect the cameras, and help with a valuable lesson about UV rays. A filter kit will give students the opportunity to add different macros and colors to their photos. And a white screen will challenge students to master the complicated math involved in lighting.

These tools will help us take our photography and our math to new and exciting places.
