My Project
In our classroom we emphasize Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) as an important foundational building block. By learning how to identify feelings and regulate emotions in positive ways, students are able to have the tools they need to be able to focus and learn better.
This project is for calming tools and posters to use in our classroom calming area.
We utilize different SEL practices throughout the day, such as breathing and mindfulness, we would like to enhance our calming area with new tools to allow students to have the ability to make choices when they're regulating their feelings.
