Our smart and engaging students are interested in expanded opportunities. They want to explore their ideas with hands-on projects that allow them to develop and solve problems in a way that reflects the nature of such context in real life. Our students only see possibilities in the world. Our students are bright, engaging, clever and believe in themselves. As their teacher, I am committed to providing them with unlimited opportunities to have fun in the arts.
My Project
These items are for a new section of our art room that students can use when they finish a project early or are in need of a calming space to express themselves. We will be making our own sketch books this year so students have their own virtual journal they can use to express their emotions through art. The duct tape will help us cover the staples so we don't poke our fingers. The baskets will help us keep our sketchbooks organized. The bouncy chair will help calm students who are feeling a little anxious as they look through our collection of art books in our class library. Art is an exciting class to learn about different mediums and techniques but it can also be a subject that helps us express our emotions. I am hopeful that this collection of supplies will help us finish our calming space and pull it all together.
