it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a wonderful group of nine who have Autism, in grades 3rd-5th. They are creative, curious, caring individuals with a great sense of humor. They enjoy reading, math, science, social studies, social/emotional learning, art, music, and movement. Students with Autism typically have sensory-seeking behaviors which may interfere with learning. These behaviors include pushing their hands against their chin for input, jumping up and down in their chair, or rocking while sitting or standing.
The vibrating pens, weighted buddy, therapy putty, and waffle builders will help my students feel calm by providing sensory feedback.
These items would help my students to remain calm and focused while learning!
