My Project

I started a new job in Atlantic City Schools. I do not have much for my classroom yet, besides what was left behind by the previous teacher. Currently, I am trying to created a calm down area for my students to use. A bean bag will help my students sit comfortably in the calm down area when they are frustrated, having behaviors, or even just a little too energetic during work time. I am hoping to add fidget toys, calm down activity card, etc. to help them learn how to de-escalate their behavior on their own, and get back on track. A bean bag would give my students a comfortable space to calm down.
