This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In today's world, our students are faced with the fear of not feeling safe in their school environment. Creating a serene and secure place where they can immerse themselves in books or simply find solace contributes to their sense of security. I want to be able to give them access to their personal space and sanctuary while also benefitting them educationally. A reading nook with bean bag seats would help provide this space! My primary objective is to ensure that my students have constant availability in this space so they can find comfort in school and with learning.
