Help me give my students more options in our SEL/Wellness/Calming room. This room is for student use. The options will give students a chance to exercise, read, fidget, have a visual experience, or work on a puzzels.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
With the pandemic still on going, middle schoolers have missed out on much in there normal school developmental years. This has caused many students to have issues with their mental health. A majority of this has been in anxiety, frustrations, and lack of social skills.
Students will be able to have acess to tools to use to help with mental health.
This will allow students a chance to focus on something else by using different tools for a certain amount of time allowing them to destress and get back to classroom academic learning as soon as possible.
