My Project
My goal by the end of the year is to have created a space in my classroom designated for students to find comfort and relaxation in while completing their assigned reading. With these supplies, I would be able to give my students a calming space for them to be able to center themselves and regulate their emotions. As my students are in 6th grade, they are learning to deal with new and sometimes frightening emotions -- by giving them this space I want them to feel free to express themselves in a positive and productive way.
