My Project
Ms. Dagnon's SWD Class at our High School is a lovely group of students who deliver mail to the other classrooms and greet everyone cheerfully in the hallways. She has requested coloring books and markers for their Calming Corner which has been implemented successfully this school year.
Coloring is thought to have a soothing effect because of the rhythmic repetition involved in the coloring motion, which some people experience as similar to a meditative state.
They are a special group of delightful students that benefit from having a cornor of the room to destress. Please help fund this project! :)
