My students are continuing to learn more and more about themselves each day. They have grown and come so far within this year.
They are able to communicate their needs with minimal prompting.
They are learning what works for them in order to regulate themselves as well as when they are sensory seeking.
These items would be able to provide a place for them to go to when they are dis-regulated or sensory seeking. My students love to have a safe place to be able to go to when they are feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, and/or upset.
