This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is designed to support our students with coping and self-regulating skills. The cube shelf gives my students a place to take some time and practice dealing with feelings they experience throughout their day. The manipulatives in this cart such as the weighted friend, the emotions boards, and sensory toys will support them in taking breaks and fulfilling and sensory needs they are experiencing. This will not only support them in developing these skills but also allow them to be able to participate nad engage throughout the school day.
