it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Calming corners are becoming very necessary for a classroom. I am requesting materials that will help me create a calming corner in my fifth grade classroom. I will set up a coy chair, that can be turned into a lounge chair, a calming fountain with relaxing white noise feature, zen gardens, search and find books, and a drawing station.
These are items that will help initiate my setup.
I am hoping to be able to offer this to my students as a reward for keeping emotions in check so learning can continue to occur.
