This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The items in this project will help complete a calming corner in the classroom. Calming corners provide a space for students to self-regulate when experiencing stress, anxiety, and various other emotions.
The missing and central piece of our calming corner is missing: the accent chairs!
While my district approved many of the materials needed for my calming corner, they did not approve the chairs. This is where my students need your help. The missing accent chairs will bring the whole space together and make it the warm space they deserve!
