My Project
Students have a lot of stress in their day. They work hard academically and emotionally. The materials in this project will help create a mindful space in the classroom. Students can use this space when they need a break or want to do quiet group work. It will also function as flexible seating.
Students will be able to use the tools from this project to develop social-emotionally.
In addition to books, students can use the fidget toys to calm down and re-focus when needed. We will be doing a lot of work with mindfulness this year and this space will allow for that to occur.
