This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Beyond this pandemic we face many struggles in supporting our students and staff with their Social and Emotional health. Having a calming corner in my general music classroom will help create a space for students to learn how to self regulate. This is especially important to prepare them to not only grow academically, but socially and emotionally as well!
Thank you for supporting our quest to teach our students that self regulation is necessary to their mental health.
There are a couple of other items that will support our campus' journey to congregate with our families in safe, outdoor spaces.
