My Project
I have a calming corner in my classroom that my students know they can go to when they are upset and need a break. We could use some new tools that they can use to help them calm down. A comfy cushion to sit on, weighted lap pads to help center themselves, a sequin wall board that can help them focus on something else, and a breathing buddy to focus on their breathing will all help them learn to regulate their emotions in ways that allow them to return to our activity.
