Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are amazing group of students that are happy to be at school! School for this group of students is something new and some of them need to learn to self-regulate their emotions. The materials I am asking will help my students feel welcome and find a place where they can relax while feeling sad, angry or tired. By providing them with a bean bag chair, carpet and different materials that can help them self-regulate they will feel better in the classroom. The charts will also help them see what rewards they are working for. Having a welcoming corner where they can sit and relax will help my students in their social development.
