This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All of our students benefit from having a calming corner. Having these calming corner resources starter kit will help focus on the social emotional well being of each student. Having the laminating sheets will allow for reusable worksheets/activities along with dry erase markers. The timers will be helpful with time management where students can hold themselves accountable on the time they spend in the calming corner. Lastly, having the TPT gift card would allot for necessary materials and resources to address the academic and social emotional learning of our students.
Our students would be grateful for their new and improved calming corner where they can relax and regulate their feelings/emotions and have a brain break when needed.
Our students are special and unique in that they are very diverse and eager to learn. Therefore, the proper supports would benefit their learning and growth.
