Help me give my students a tranquil space, a calming corner where my students can escape the chaos, reflect on their thoughts, and navigate their feelings.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As the end of the year comes, wear and tear has kicked in. Our calming corner has given out and we need your support. This is not just a request; it is a heartfelt plea for a sanctuary that fosters emotional well-being and serenity in the classroom.
This bean bag will go under a canopy area that we have in the classroom.
Students can sit down, take a breather and use tools that will help them self regulate. Our calming corner is so used that it made our last couch flat as a pancake.
Many of my students face significant challenges at home; they encounter needs that many other children do not, making it essential for us to create a supportive environment where they can feel safe and at ease. Your assistance in this matter would greatly benefit our students. I thank you in advance.
