My Project
Help us create a sensory calm corner in our art room designed to support students with special needs. Many of our students benefit from sensory tools that help them self-regulate, reduce anxiety, and focus in the classroom. Art is already a therapeutic outlet, and having a designated calm space will further empower our students to succeed.
Your donation will provide essential items, such as fidget toys, weighted blankets, and soft lighting to create a peaceful environment.
These tools are especially important for students who experience sensory overload, as they offer a safe place to take a break and reset before returning to their work.
By contributing to this project, you are directly helping us meet the diverse needs of our students. Art class should be an inclusive and welcoming space for all learners, and a sensory calm corner will make that possible. It will ensure that students with special needs have the support they need to thrive both emotionally and creatively.
