Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We would love to add a nice calming corner for our new Pre-K classroom. Our students come from different backgrounds, and this will be their first year of school. While the transition can be difficult, our goal is to have a safe and welcoming space where we can work on calming strategies and allow them to take a break when needed. This is an important area for our classroom, and want our students to have feel safe, loved, and cared for. Social emotional development is a priority for us and a significant piece for their first classroom.
