This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help transform my 2nd-grade classroom into a calm, inviting, and inspiring learning space for my students.

Research shows that the classroom environment plays a huge role in student focus, emotional well-being, and motivation.

This year, I would love to introduce pastel-themed decor to create a soothing, welcoming atmosphere where my students feel safe, comfortable, and eager to learn.

Pastel colors help reduce anxiety, support concentration, and foster creativity — all crucial for 7- and 8-year-olds as they build their confidence in reading, writing, and problem-solving.

Every little bit helps create the kind of classroom that feels like a second home for my students. Your contribution will directly impact their daily learning experience and help set the tone for a positive, peaceful year of growth.
