Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I'd like to offer my students a variety of art experiences in the classroom. By having magnatiles and storage box, my students will have resources to create and build structures numerous times as magnatiles can be reused and are developmentally appropriate for my first graders. The stickers would be used to create sticker collages using stickers of characters that are of high interest of my kiddos. The markers will be used for different art work like creating character crowns for reader’s theatre or for artwork from other areas of study. The tempera paint sticks would be great for my students as they are easy to use for different paint projects and they are mess-free! The model Magic clay will be used to create sculptures. With your support my students will have a variety of resources to create many art pieces!
