This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom is a unique one. We are an collaborative classroom with general education and special education students. The students in our classroom range in age from 3-5 years old.

The materials for our calming area will allow all students to have a safe and quiet place to calm their bodies if they become over stimulated or just need a break.

Currently, our classroom does not have a designated calming area. This project will allow us to create a space in our room, along with the library, to just relax and unwind.
