Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will bring a much needed cozy area to 2-4 year old students in a combined classroom. Our students and families come from diverse cultures and needs all which our students are attempting to understand as they grow and learn to be a part of society.
Students often times hide their emotions because they can’t find a safe place to express them.
I plan to utilize these materials to teach students about their emotions and strategies to cope with them in a safe space. The furniture allows for students to visit the area and feel comfortable in it.
