My Project
Social Emotional Learning is an important part of my student's growth. A healthy mind is important for academic learning at any age. Providing them with a calming area, dot art painters, a magnetic easel, and calming books to express their feelings is essential during this overwhelming and difficult time.
A welcoming and safe calming area will provide my students with a space that is free to express their feelings and emotions.
A classroom calming area will provide my students with books, materials, and resources to self-manage and regulate their emotions so they can be productive and successful leaner.
