This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The supplies that I am requesting are to help me provide my students with a calming space where they can regulate their emotions when they are experiencing overwhelming feelings that prevent them from being able to focus and function in their classroom.
The books will help my students continue to learn about their emotions, healthy coping skills, and self-regulation.
The chairs provide comfort and relaxation. The toys will allow them to have fun while they are learning self-awareness, self-control, and interpersonal skills.
By donating to our project, you are helping to normalize the importance of mental health and the well-being of all students.
