This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me give my students a calming area in our classroom. Students will learn how to self-manage their emotions. The calming area will have books about feelings, pillows, a sofa, and stress-relief toys. Students will be able to go to the calming area and learn about their feelings or release some stress. The area will be soothing and relaxing. It will be a calming and welcoming area for my students. Students will be able to read books and use plush toys, and stress relief toys while using the calming area.
