Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My goal is to use the materials to create a comforting space for my students. The tent will offer students safe space where they can get away from their peers and be able to manage their emotions, without leaving the classroom.
The books and posters will encourage and allow the students to learn how to manage their complex emotions.
The use of the fidget toys and the bean bags will help the students relax and calm down. The materials on my list will assist the students with getting back on track and ready to learn.
