My Project
My TK students are still learning about emotions. Sometimes they have a hard time dealing with their emotions since they are still learning to identify them. This is not an easy task for children who just turned 5.
My students need a place where they can go calm themselves when their emotions get the best of them. A calming place that provides them with a variety of tools they can use to calm down, refocus, or distract themselves until they are back to a more relaxed state of mind. A welcoming corner they can choose to use right in the classroom.
