Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love my students they are very loving and full of energy. I am very big on social-emotional skills and teaching them how to redirect their emotions in a positive manner.
Children will be directed to this area so that they can calm down when needed to release feelings of anger, sadness, etc..
They can draw, write, and read. The calming ball will be used with children feel angry or frustrated. I plan on using the mirror to place words of affirmation to also help with self-confidence and self-esteem.
