This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A cozy corner for my classroom is in need. My students will use the area to feel comfy by having earmuffs that block noise and a transparent corner tent to feel closed yet visible to the teachers to see in.
Feelings Chart and Keep Calm Posters will help students manage their emotions.
My students are young, and they are learning about their feelings. My goal is to have my students deal with their emotions positively. I am focused on social-emotional learning.
I have noticed that my student likes to use their fine motor skills, and playdough is a great therapeutic activity that also allows for creativity.
