Help me give my students a Flex-Space Comfy Floor Seat, wireless classroom headphones, and other materials that will keep them engaged in classroom activities, develop their fine motor skills, and calm their bodies when needed.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our classroom is Preschool Collaborative Classroom(PCC) in the Early Education Center. We have 10 students with a range of disabilities, like Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Speech and Language Impairment, and other disabilities. We also have 14 general education students 3 to 5 years of age. Some of them are English Language Learners.
As we provide adaptations within activities to support each child's participation, a Flex Space Comfy Floor Seat will help our students pay attention during circle times.
It will help students focus and will also be used during activities throughout the day. Wireless Headphones will help some of our students who are emotional and very sensitive to noise. They will block out noises in the calm-down area and will help them focus while they participate in other activities. For example, when they hear one of their peers cry they start crying too. These headphones will help block out excess noise.
In addition, we also have a Calm Down Area with family pictures and an emotion chart they can refer to, but we don't have enough sensory materials, which is why we need things like a Create and Design Drill Kit, Construct A Letter Activity Center, and Build the Letter Activity Center. These activities will be very useful as they work with peers and develop their social emotional and fine motor skills. Students can also use the magnetic whiteboard to post their pictures with different emotions and it will give them the opportunity to draw their emotions with Write and Wipe Crayons. This will help them with not being afraid to express their feelings. The Find the Letter Activity Center will be a great addition to our sensory table as our students learn how to take turns with peers, and search for letters while using their fine motor skills. Sensory Rings can be used to help our students to focus and pay attention to the teacher-directed activities during circle times, small group instructions, and also in the calm down area. Lastly, our students will highly benefit from the Helpers Chart as they are motivated when we assign jobs to them.
