This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The following project will help create a calm down area in my third grade classroom. Which will give students a place to regulate their emotions, learn about their emotions, and learn coping skills.
In this area students will be able to use coping skills as well as have a place where they can be comfortable and feel safe in the classroom.
This is very important to keep the students engaged in their academics. Through this area students will be able to focus on their mental health and well being. Thank you.
