Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are 4 year olds in an UTK CC classroom. They are curious, energetic, enthusiastic and creative. They are learning to express their feelings as well as developing their social emotional skills. This project will provide a calming area for them to use when they need it. It will also provide them opportunities to learn about their feelings and emotions. The materials in this project will support them when they become upset or overwhelmed. It will serve as an additional safe space for them to use in the classroom.
