My Project
As a kindergarten - 2nd grade special education teacher, many of my students are just beginning their in-classroom experience due to the pandemic. They have not had an opportunity to learn how to identify and regulate their emotions in a group or classroom setting. I would like to provide my students with a safe quiet space in our classroom that they can go to. In this space, I would like them to have tools and pictures that will help teach them how to work through emotions, while learning that their feelings do matter.
