Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Social-emotional learning is essential in our classroom. My kinder students need soft seats, calm down cubes, a calming cuddle ball and a beanbag to create a calming-down area where they can settle down and explore their feelings. We need to help them Calm Down, support their emotional growth and mental health and wellness.
Please help me support my students to learn to deal with others and work through their BIG emotions.
Your donation will help us give our students strategies and assist them when dealing with escalating mental health needs, finding solutions to challenges and helping them feel better. They will benefit from referring to the bulletin board sets and posters, along with the sensory tools, activity mats. and the amazing Fill a Bucket Lessons.
They also need these other materials like soft, sensory balls, swing and ring toss, mini bowling set for social development, to help them explore their feelings, have fun, get along with, work with their peers, and develop positive and healthy ways to self-regulate. They will become more engaged, mindful, and gain empathy through Using Good Manners and Making Better Choices Matching Game.
