This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help me give my students bean bag chairs and other supplies for their calming area. A calming space in our classroom will provide them with the tools they need to regulate their emotions. My students will be able to calm down and/or relax if they need a break.
I teach 3 to 5 year old preschool students with special needs.
I am requesting a variety of resources and supplies including a bean bag seat, books, sensory paint, playdough, and more. These will make the Calming Area more inviting and help the students to regulate their emotions and feel safe and happy.
