This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are so full of life! Getting them to focus that energy on learning and bettering themselves can be a challenge. As pre-teens, they have a lot of big emotions. With your donation, I aspire to equip my students with practical tools for self-regulation.

They can relax and read in our bean bag chairs, get out their frustration with a slam ball, and calm themselves with our sensory tools!

These tools will be used to help all 37 sixth graders. Thank you so much for your time!
