Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Some of the items will help our students improve their fine motor skills and give them activities that they can engage in.
The weighted blanket will help aid some of our students that become overwhelmed and filled with anxiety, to feel safe and comforted when needing a quiet moment or help with focusing.
We have a group of children that have multiple disabilities and face many challenges, but do not let it stop them from pursuing their daily activities. They are unique in their own ways and bring joy to those who are around them and that is what makes them so special.
