Help me give my students some much-needed classroom art supplies and stress center calming items such as play fruit and vegetables, Leap Frog Learn to read, and other materials.
My students are very young and are just learning how to control their emotions. Sometimes they need a little bit of support on how to do that. I am creating a calming/stress center using quiet figits and stuffed animals that my students can use this throughout the day in the center or when they need to be able to calm themselves down during a hard emotional time. Classrooms always need extra hands on support for health center (fruits and vegetables) art supplies and read aloud books. Supplying my students with something to calm down with using most of their senses helps them self-control their emotions and provides a calm and supportive classroom environment that everyone can learn in.
